Why do I need a Veteran Card?

Proof of military service
Veteran's discounts at participating retail and commercial businesses
Easier to carry than the DD-214
Obtain duplicate copies of your DD-214 at the Recorder's Office

What to Bring?

DD-214's must be on file in the Recorder's Office and discharge must be Honorable.
Must Bring Two forms of ID with one being a photo ID.
The Following Documents are acceptable forms of identification:
- Original or Certified Birth Certificate
- Identification card issued by the US Dept of Veterans Affairs
- US Military ID card
- Social Security Card
- A license or permit to carry a concealed weapon
- A motor vehicle operator's license with photo
- Valid Passport
- US Armed Forces discharge record
