Defiance County Senior Services Auxiliary
The mission statement for the Defiance County Senior Services Auxiliary is – to assist in the betterment of Defiance County Senior Services through positive public awareness and recruitment of public support. The Senior Services Auxiliary began in 1997 by two ladies - Helen Moser and Betty Smith, who conducted small fundraisers for the benefit of Senior Services programming. Over the years, more and more people wanted to get involved, so a 501-C3 Auxiliary was formed in 2000. The Defiance County Senior Services Auxiliary was instrumental in raising funds for the renovation of a new senior facility, completed in 2010, in Defiance and continues their fundraising efforts for the support and enhancement of Defiance County Senior Services.
